there's no turning back now

Sorry, forgot you'd seen it, I can show you the good ones if you like . Should have some NA-T slips by mid-season. Seriously, don't know why you hesitate to throw a decent tyre on there, the 5spd should be able to survive some kind of DOT with the occasional hard launch, i've found that what works best for me with a stick is to shock the drivetrain and try to ripple the sidewalls as much as possible, but yeah I don't see that gearbox holding up to too much of that. Time to start budgeting for the Getrag brother, i'm still considering swapping out the slushbox for one too...

I saw, thanks man i appreciate it
trouble is; i just called Apexi' and talked to one of their guys there... he said most of the entire staff is at the auto salon atm... but he's pretty sure they won't have a copy of the ITC manual anywhere
do any of you know where i could find it? I found 95% of the instructions in the MKIII forums; but in the end it only showed the wiring for a Mazda Miata and a WRX it explained a lot tho; just didn't have the total information that i needed

Lex... I just got a new set of Kumho MX 285/40/17... Supposed to be almost as grippy as the king of the road BFG K/D. Unfortunately, they don't seem to hold the power any better. Still spins all the way through 2nd gear. I haven't taken them to the track or got to lower the air pressure yet. Perhaps they'll perk up when heated. The short list now includes either the stock TT auto LSD or the TRD auto LSD. The 6spd is just too rich for me right now.

Scott, if we can figure out and actually swap the R154 into the 2jz; that would be perfect because they are super beefy and can be found for CHEAP... like $300 in most junkyards
i ordered another turbo and i have my old turbo for sale on a popular auction site
i bought a brand new T04E-57 with a .58 A/R
my old turbo was called a T04E-14 with a 1.0 A/R and vband... i didn't wanna deal with the vband crap; and the A/R was WAY too large... and i got a good deal on the turbo; so i got to wait a few more days... my manifold should be here today; and it may already be downstairs

manifold is here... it looks to be a VERY solid and beefy piece... i now know what Dave was talking about
going to get my flange put on today; looks like it'll be easier than i thought
gotta wait for my new turbo tho

no idea; i've been bugging dave about this manifold since last year tho when he was thinking of building it
i can ask him when he thinks it'll be available
its unpainted too mainly because i have to finish it up with my T4 flange... i'll post some pics soon enough tho
i do know that my current turbo mounted straight up if i bolted it on would not fit; the compressor housing is too large my T04E-57 should be a good bit smaller

10psi prolly... not anymore than that; Z31 turbo guys run 10-12psi all day long without an intercooler; and thats with a serious hairdryer T3 turbo... the T4 will create less heat at that boost level
i'll have an intercooler on it pretty soon; i just want to get the hard stuff done first...
power levels? they'll be around 375-390rwhp once tuned at 10psi i think... maybe 400 since not running an intercooler keeps pressure drop from happening, a T04E-57 only flows slightly less air than the T04E-60....
eventually i'll get an SP63 i think; after i run alcohol injection

Have you run the numbers? What I came up with is 8psi, 300rwhp. That's about it. Those numbers are based on my car, switching to a T04E 57, then deleting the intercooler.

run what numbers?
a T04e-60 only flows slightly more air than a T04E-57 and ComputerWiz seemed to do just fine made quite a bit more power than 300rwhp if i remember right
there's MKIII guys making 400rwhp and 460 ft-lbs of torque at 18psi on 8.5:1 CR on this turbo; i figure i could do somewhat near that since the 2jz makes a lot more hp vs torque than the 7m does
