^^ DIY for rebuilding the rack. I didn't see anything pointing to a new replacement of that line...it's either buy used or another rack.
Moved thread to maintenance.

Never heard of a replacement line for that. I couldn't give you a reason not to try the splice connector, worst case scenario you have to buy a new rack anyways. I'd just hate to see the splice connector fail while you're driving at speed.
How does the steering respond with that line broken by the way? Does it just turn one wheel while the other kind of follows the road, what happens?

It seems to turn like any car with no ps. I have been driving it just fine. It's just hard. I lifted the front end and both wheels turn with each other perfectly. Pump is not whining and is almost empty. Will be ordering a new rack soon

Rack will run you around 300 bucks BUT with a core of over $100 so return that old rack!!

steering will just be harder. some have even reverted the rack to non power steering for track use.
while the power steering is not needed for a manual rack, you may want to leave the fluid in it not sure if it also acts as lubrication in there, so I prob wouldn't let it run dry. plug it or something till you replace it.

it looks to just be like a metal brake line type things with a banjo fitting on one side and a regular fitting on the other, if you knew the ends and the lengths, you could just make a custom line, but $57 is not bad at all.
if the repair is working and not leaking, then just keep an eye on it.
