I've removed the throttle body, EGR and y-pipe so often on this car that it's not even a big issue for me anymore, as sad as it is for me to have to say that.

Just checking in.
So far the problem has not returned. I think the Coolant temp sensor, and diagnosing the aging gas did solve the problem. It got back to running slightly warm, so I tested the engine fan clutch and was able to stop it with a rolled up magazine, so I went ahead and ordered a new one from the stealership. Glad to have solved the problem, hopefully all of this mess can serve as a lighthouse for others to steer clear of repeating this mess.

Default misfire

i have also been experiencing some weird stuff going on ive changed my fuel pressure regulator, wire, plugs cap and rotor are a year old aswell. i seem to get a misfire once the car is warm maybe 30 minutes into driving... fires up no problem but the car does start to dump all kinds of fuel and smokes me out of my car lol... now i know you had mention the engine coolant temp sensor is the last thing you replaced are you saying that is what you think cured the misfire or are you set on the ecu fixing that and the coolant temp being your over heating issue??? how has the car been so far ???
