430 SC Ignition odd sound when turning key
My 430 SC has 80,000 miles. Recently started to make humming sound when I turn the key. It starts the engine and sound is gone. Never happens when I start it in the garage. Almost always happens after sitting in the hot sun. Does not happen 100% of the time. Please tell me someone has this experience as well and has a diagnosis.

The noise is....
Steering column needs lubrication. Lexus dealership decided that was all there was to it and they did just that and no problems now for 6 weeks. Very hot summer in Florida so they must have been correct.
