Cool Cam timing

Sooo I've been having difficulty tuning my BC272s with my AEMv2. After throwing money at the motor I figured out that it's definitely not a fuel issue nor an ignition issue. Just for "let's see what happens" purposes, I advanced the exhaust cam 4 degrees and sure enough my idle improved. I have a feeling that the motor is having reversion issues at low RPM and might benefit from a higher lobe separation angle.

I know many 2JZ guys have gained questionable power from retarding the exhaust cams. What settings are you single turbo guys running? Do single turbo JZ cars generally advance the exhaust or do they retard the intake cam? Especially the big cam single turbo guys! Please share!
