SC300 driveshaft 1 piece or reservice?
I changed my transmission mount on my car because I thought it was causing a noise accompanied with a low speed vibration . While to some extent it helped remedy the condition by replacing the mount I believe the drive shaft needs to be replaced.
What are my options here? I'm thinking of just calling the drifshaft shop and getting a 1 piece. Who can give me some ideas.

What I have found is that most of the vibration problems with 2 piece shafts are due to the fact that there are too many adapters and couplers in the equation that introduce vibrations. Although, for a stock car it would be much cheaper and easier to just go to a local driveline shop and have them re-balance it. But, a good 1 piece driveshaft will out perform a 2 piece any day of the week. 1 piece shafts give a firmer feel, are lighter and eat up less horsepower. There's a reason you don't see 2 piece shafts in race cars and the real fast cars.
Keep in mind the stock 2 piece will perform just fine for HUGE numbers, 1 piece driveshafts are just if you want to take the next step on driveline weight reduction or if you're going to replace it anyway.. Just my opinion.
