Gadget, what did you do to clean the block up so well? Your enigne bay looks a whole lot cleaner in the going back together section. Good work. Could you show a face shot of the vpc? Does it have four pots on the front of it?

Richie...I cant seem to move fast enough. I find myself getting side tracked constantly, and spending so much time cleaning and polishing. I really am alot farther along than you think . Hope to be on the road soon.

Jon...What r u upto? Gonna get rid of 2 SC's??? For???? Up for a ride saturday afternoon?

AJ - here is another pic you requested...only one is hooked-up, was doing some testing. There are only 4 *****. 1-Response, 2-Gain, 3-Idle, 4-OpOut. As far as cleaning the pistons...I used a wire brush, super clean, gumout, a scraper and some scotchbrite. Same with the head but I took it easy because its a little softer.

Sammy - I live in port jeff, right off rt112, weathers getting nice so a meet sounds good. You sure those gears werent repainted? Dont see any etching on them?

Damn guys...your right up the block from me...I live in Medford. I'm in the Huntington area a lot tho, but my hometown is Medford. I'm probably like 10 minutes from you gadgetSC

The HKS Cam Gears do have markings on them, I think its just that the camera made it look like that. As soon as I get my ride up and running again, we'll definitely meet up

Sammy, just moved to Brightwater Farms (Bay Shore), plenty close to Medford...
Far as the cam gears, i've seen some differences in what I would assume to be the anodizing process, just two different batches of cam gears manufactured at different times I guess...

gadg, man it's not much longer now...

Cool...3 NA-T's in neighboring towns

gadgetSC, I noticed you only have 1 o2 sensor flange welded on to the dp. Are you splicing the o2 wires together to do this or is there another way? I got 2 being welded onto my PF dp, but I only want to use 1 of them, then the other for maybe a FJO widewand later on...
Seems like your car is almost done. When do you expect to have it running by if its not already running?

Sammy....Thats exactly one of my road block right now is that I dont have two sensor bungs. I have to get another one welded on to use both. I hooked up just the fjo and it starts but runs super rich without the stock sensors, I will run one and tie it to the other so I wont have the check engine light. So there I am....

Who did the polishing job on ur intake manifold? I'm looking to get a set of valve covers polished, just wanted to see how much it would cost.

Also any of you guys know how to get the codes from a check engine light? Besides using a code reader.

Did the polishing job myself....Had some time while waiting for my turbo to ship. It was alot of work. The only reason I even attempted the job was because I didnt know of a polisher who I could trust to get it back to me when I needed it. I would definately try harder next time to get a professional. I was'nt super happy with the results, but I did get rid of the damage from a STB that didnt fit.
