As far as I am aware, the Torsen T-2R was not made available on either the Supra or Soarer platforms. Only the Torsen T-1 (USA/Export and JDM) and T-2 (JDM only, possibly Soarer only).

Short but interesting discussion of different LSDs for Soarers (including the T-2's) here:

INTIMAZY, I really like the Wavetrac LSD design. I contacted them a few months ago asking if they saw a market for Supra MKIV's and by extension early Lexus SC's. Despite having several random aftermarket applications for many popular tuner cars they flat out were not interested in the MKIV/SC platforms. They notably offer them for Mini Coopers and 350/370Z's. GTO's too I think.

Also... a discussion thread on SF regarding the claimed longevity of the OS Giken Super Lock LSDs:

I know a lot of people that run the KAAZ. They drift a lot but drive their cars on the street too. They're pretty happy with it

The T2R was never available for the Supra or Soarer, despite people on ebay selling them as such. I was just pointing out that it's a nice diff that satisfies both Torsen and Clutch LSD parties.

I would recommend the OS Giken. By far the best LSD I have used (primarily for racing).

I ended up sourcing GS400 diff w/ 3.26 Gearing and went with TRD Supra Auto LSD..

I was in a toss up between TRD and OS Giken...but the OS requires machining to fit so opted for TRD LSD
