Resonator or muffler delete?

Resonator or muffler delete?
Looking for budget sound for my 92 SC400.
Should I delete resonators, or mufflers?
Will resonator delete cause bad cabin drone?
Will muffler delete be too loud?
Will muffler delete cost me power, or gain, or nil?
Thoughts?
Thanks

I take it your SC is CA emissions. I just deleted the resonators on my CA emissions SC and to be honest, you can't even tell they were removed. Sounds identical, except under load, but its still barely noticeable. So I bought a set of N1 mufflers, which should do the trick. Removing the resonators costed me $133. Mufflers were $60, and the work to throw those on and remove the existing stock mufflers is $150.
resonator delete should increase power that is barely mentionable, definitely not noticeable.

sc400 slide, did you just upload a video to youtube?
I have been searching and saw all the videos and a new one just popped up with your same notes.
If so, thanks a ton! I thin ill be doing the resonator delete.

So I ended up just getting the resonator deletes.
Local shop charged me $80 OTD (props to Muffler Tech; great guys there) and I have to say, I am pleased.
It adds a slight amount of sound (still drowned out at lower levels by the intake sound) at normal cruising and driving speeds, but when you open it up it sounds great. No drone at 1500-2500rpm, and overall just what I was looking for.
Thanks to sc400slide for the input.

I deleted my mufflers for the longest time and loved it. Then I got Tanabe's and it sounds stock from the inside but from behind it sounds like a nice toned down V8, just like a slow stock v8 should

I did a res and muffler delete on my 2016 GS-F and it sounds great. Nothing tacky or too loud. I don't have a sound clip of mine but another member on this thread does I'll post a link.

I deleted the resonators on my SC4 and couldn't tell a bit of difference. I ended up cutting out my third cat and adding borla mufflers - never head a better sounding V8 around town. Wasn't obnoxious, but plenty of sound to let you know you have something a little special under the hood. Remove the axle back mufflers, see if you like the sound. If not, add some more aggressive mufflers and I think you'll get what you're after.
