Default Crank but no start

Hey guys, Iv'e been having this issue lately where my 92' sc400 would crank but not fire up. Any ideas what might be the problem? I took it to two mechanics already. Thanks!!

so what did the mechanics say ? If they knew what they were doing , they should have told you what the problem is and the solution.

there can be a lot of reason why a car won't fire up... fuel ? spark ? compression ?

hard to guess really with so many variables and little information from you.

sc400 and a relatively new user, my money is on the fuel pump ecu. its usually the reason for no starts on 400's and it seems to happen to the 400 more than the 300 no idea why, but can happen on the 300 also. next likely is a bad coilpack but generally with 1 bad coilpack the car will still start and run but will idle low/choppy etc..

as a test jump FP and B+ on the diagnostic connector in the engine bay, that will make the fuel pump run continuously, then try and start the car.
if it starts then the fuel pump ecu is bad and should be replaced. look into the 12v fuel mod as a way to bypass it, but they you also loose the fuel pump safety features which is why its better to replace vs bypass.
