Default GTE auto work in with SC300 Driveshaft

Whats goin gon guys. I had a few questions about the GE to GTE swap and I searched and couldnt find the answers. Anyway has anyone swapped an auto GTE into an automatic SC300. If so did you need to change the drivehsaft and rear end? Are the SC300 and 400 trans the same? How about driveshaft?

I heard you can use teh gte auto with the 300 rear by using a 400 driveshaft. Any truth to this?
Thanks

Never heard about that rumor.

I have a Auto GTE swapped into my Auto SC. I put in the GTE rearend as well, to my knowledge the driveshaft still had to be modified. I believe even if you retain the stock diff carrier (GE) you'll still need to modify the driveshaft.

hope this helps.

Do you know if you could use the stock driveshaft if you were to use the stock rear end and all? I've been told it should work... and have a built gte auto on the way...
