Default Rear main seal right?

Have a badddd oil leak under my vvti UZ. Only think that I think it could be is my rear main seal.
How much would an indy shop charge to replace the seal?
Thanks!

Since the oil wetness is also in front (towards the engine) I would suggest checking the oil pan joint.

Check to see if your vvt-i cam gear is leaking oil. On my vvt-i SC300 it would leak in the front then get whipped around by the timing belt, then leak out the bottom and splash everywhere under my car. The cam gear itself is about $220 from the dealer if I remember correctly.

Rear main seal they have to pull engine or trans. to get to, very labor intense. I just had my 93 sc400 engine removed, new front and rear main seals, valve covers, timing chain cover, cam seals. $2000.00.. 160,000 on engine.

check valve covers at rear also, really the only way to tell for sure is to clean it all up, and then catch where its coming out of before the oil spreads all over.

Just mentioning this because it happened to me... Make sure it's oil and not transmission fluid.

I had a weird situation happen to me where I noticed a leak on my garage floor and I thought it was the rear main seal. After cleaning it up, I noticed that when it did it again it was not the color of my oil, and it smelled like gear oil.
Turns out the front transmission seal on my W58 had started to leak. I've never seen or read another post anywhere like what happened to me. Sure enough, when we took the trans off to do everything it was the trans seal that was leaking. The rear main was in great shape and dry. We changed it anyway for peace of mind because the transfluid had saturated the stock clutch so it was toast. So I did both trans seals, the rear main, and the clutch at the same time
