man jon, it seems we both have had some crazy *** problems with these NA-T's, mine needs a new shortblock because i had a little issue with crankwalk. Our cars got to hang out at SP a few days ago, they were the ones who actually diagnosed my problem with crankwalk.

So mine was almost done, and i just got the new shortblock yesterday, we are getting everything rolling again on tuesday, I just hope that this is going to be the last of my engine problems with the car.

Good luck with your's and i hope that before you take it back to NY you can hang out with the Chicago Lexus Club fella's

I know its not very common on the GE motor, but i geuss on the GTE motor with high miles its common... ? I have searched SF and here and have not found anything about crankwalk on a GE motor. But i saw firsthand today that my crank had about 1/4 of an inch of play along with bearing schrapnel in the oil pan.

I geuss it was a combo of my increased clutch pressure, and the miles on the car. I geuss there was no way for me to avoid it, that it was bound to happen. I replaced my rear main seal, and i geuss thats one of the first signs of it. I am just glad that it happened while i was in the shop as opposed to driving down the road somewhere. I saw the new shortblock today, and it looks great! i cant wait til it all comes together.

Sorry to highjack your thread jon, Back to your Turbo SC and meeting with the Chicago guys when its done!

Won't be making that BBQ...having the car transported back to NY. That does suck Kevin, at least our coupes were in good company for awhile, i'll have a good thought for your project. Lar posted something on SF about mine, guess it's officially the first vvt-i aem car, plus this was the first vvt-i turbo SC3...no big deal but makes me feel a little more like the effort was worth it.
John...no doubt...a couple CL members will be over here next month, you could head over.
Jeff...a little sellers remorse or no? How 'bout the new project?
Richie....I already feel like I am...these cars are like some chick you want to bang a couple times ... and end up knocking her up and buying her a house and what not...it never ends.

Car is finally running perfectly. 480 RWHp so far, conservatively tuned, 18 psi. I will crush the 500 mark tomorrow....
