Bottomed out? Damn chi-town potholes. Or is it Ferris Bueler's day off? Someone had fun.
Turning a few wrenches eh? Porting the tranny filter. Nice.

Having a higher psi only delays the time the wastegate opens up correct? Also, would you have any information on a t04b turbo. I got a brand new one on Ebay, and it comes with a 1.15a/r exhaust housing. Ebay seems to be selling a lot of this particular t04b turbo, and they all come with 1.15a/r exhaust housing. I'm guessing it's probably made for the turbo. I'm planning on using it on my lexus na-t, and was wondering if you would recommend a lower exhaust a/r, or would the 1.15 spool good enough.
Thanks!

Spool is great, seeing the difference the vvt-i made in building boost I was surprised at how quick it got going despite the .81 A/R. As for the t04b...I would not be happy with it for long, but it depends on what your goals are, which you have not stated. Regarding boost, i've tried a few different springs in the gate, I believe there's a red-green in there now, I get about .8 bar on the gate spring alone and the rest is done through an EVC, which I still haven't turned on yet since taking delivery.
