Default Sc400 turns off when selecting gear

Hi all, I've recently purchased a sc400 "2000 mode full jap import, had the issue of it turning off/stalling when selecting gear since I bought the car.
Gearbox completely went in it, so I got this one fully rebuilt, along with a new torque converter, and also had the ecu rebuilt.
So far I know it's not the torque converter or gearbox, hope someone can help me out, thanks.

Are all cylinders on every bank running ? Put new spark plugs ... then idle for 20 minutes , take out spark plugs and take a picture of the spark plugs and post them here to see the condition of how each cylinder runs. That will give you a good indication of fuel and spark condition on every cylinder.

A one or two cylinders not running properly will stall a car once shifted from Neutral to Drive or Reverse . Start from there !

Try disconnect transmission external connector at transmission to see the problem still there or not.

Yes it is running rough but it's not the issue I believe.

External connector of transmission as in the neutral safety switch?

Ok so I disconnected the start neutral safety switch off the box and left it in neutral (the switch) car doesn't stall now when selecting gear !!!! Any ideas? I've tried another switch and does the same.

Plug the neutral safety switch back. Unplug shift solenoids connector at transmission.
