Just a heads up. EFI is also doing headers for the SC400. I emailed them a couple weeks ago and they said they would be ready soon. I think it was like $670 AUD. Not a bad price.

I told them to put me on the mailing list so I could get the headers and supercharger as long as they are compatible with the US model.

Do you know if the price posted on the Rush Import web site is in US or Australian dollars?
I just recieved an email from EFI and they said the headers are available. I'm dropping them an email to get some more info. I'll post as soon as I get it.

Australian dollars of course.
Neil (of Rush Imports) is a great guy to deal with, and a long time member on the ALSC website. I personally have bought stuff from him and recommend him 200%.

I can't stress this enough folks- make sure the Au stuff fits the US cars.
Plus, the cost of wiring money from your bank to a foreign bank is also expensive. And our cars are different. All I can say is TRUST ME! I still have a nice shiney set of ceramic coated Australian Headers hanging in my garage after almost a year. They didn't fit! They can, but a lot of work is needed to make them fit. So unless you have the resources to work around many small problems (lucky for me I do- its the Time I don't have)- please be careful. I don't want to discourage anyone from buying anything overseas, I just want to make people aware of the problems I've had. But on the flip side, dealing with those Aussies is alot better than trying to deal with American A-holes who only want your money. The customer service from Au is second to none. I haven't found a person from that country that didn't have the time to answer my questions. Top notch people. I only wish we could have companies w/ their ethics here in the states!
This is my main concern for the supercharger. I'd hate to drop that kinda cash and find out it doesn't work, then to have to try to sell it to someone overseas and pay all the shipping, etc again.....you get the hint.
Please just be aware and be careful. Thats my two cents for the day.

i want those headers soo bad!!! what is the engine in AU, is it the 4.0 liter v8 1uz block, or is it "4.0 litre something else engine"
Other coutries that spell liter wrong, they crack me up.

I just received a reply from Neil at Rush imports.
1) I was assured the headers would fit the US model SC400. Possibly an LS400 as well, but as Keith pointed out, it can be pricey to get the wrong part and try to resell it back to another country.
2) The headers dyno'd at an additional 13KW increase at the wheels. I have no Idea what that means in terms of HP.
3) The S/C kit should be made available in about 4 weeks. It uses an Eaton M90 blower. Works on factory computer. Dyno results will be posted as soon as the kit is available.
This sounds like great news for the power starved SC400.
