Default Weird Fluctuation in tach and abs/trac/battery light flicker

Ok, so here goes. '93 SC300. Mod exhaust with headers. Deleted cats. Intake mod. All months ago. Tach registers really low and inaccurate after these mods. No big deal. NOW, for no particular reason and I can't duplicate on demand, the battery light will flicker, then stay lit, ABS and TRAC lights come on. While this is happening, the other cluster lights will brighten, the RPMs will reduce, the AC compressor will slow, headlights may go off and, then, goes back to normal. Rinse and repeat. Is not stalling or dying. I should add that I also recently changed the AC compressor to new/rebuilt. Low RPMs wouldn't allow constant performance by the compressor. Raised idle. Didn't solve. Put original compressor back in and THAT problem was solved. But now these lights, and the fluctuation in RPMs is causing me grief. Anyone got ANY ideas? Disconnected neg battery while running. Alternator seems fine. No alteration in idle/lights/nothing while disconnected. Clueless..Simple as battery going bad? No problems starting. ?????

Had the battery checked. Full charge. Not the problem.
