I'd get another unit just to rule it out if everything else is exhausted. What about the jumpers and dip settings?

scott when supraforums comes back up do some research on there; there are some diff settings you have to use on the emanage; i did a good bit of research on it
to use the aux injectors and sub injector control (Where you can change the pulsewidths AND duty cycle), you need the harnesses; along with the harnesses for ignition control
lemme know if you need this info because i can go dig for it; its stored somewhere
and make sure you've got hte emanage set up for karman vortex; supratt instructions use hotwire which will cause the EXACT problem you have described
no SCs ever had hotwire; always karman vortex
EDIT: now that i've read the rest of the thread lol i know you know most of this
oh well

Bean, it has something to do with how the e-manage emulates the karman vortex signature that the ECU is looking for. I don't get it. The SAFCII has no problems putting out this signal, the VPC has no problems outputting the correct signal. Its something the Greddy people just didn't work out.
The E-manage appeared to be outputting the correct signal except every so often there would be a huge spike in the karman frequency, almost as if there is noise coming into the unit. I measured with an o-scope, and the noise that this thing was registering via real time trace really wasn't there, so it is something with either the voltage level or the shape of the waveform or the impedance, whatever, I don't really know. It would be running at around 2000rpm and you'd see a karman frequency of like 40hz, then all of the sudden it would register 22khz or some madness like that for a brief spike---a fraction of a second. then it would go back down. Problem is, the e-manage sees that and thinks its airflow and opens the injectors fully during that pulse and chokes the car. I did put a low pass filter on the signal path thinking that perhaps it was some kind of induced noise, but that didn't do much of anything to fix it. I also wrapped the wire lead in a ferrite core to reduce any sort of induced EMF and that also did no good.

1. Do you kno what the ***** are suppose to be set to on a Na 93 Sc???
2. If i have a karman Vortex or Hotwire?
3. A pin diagram for my ECU telling me where my Air Flow Meter wire is?? (The Lexus Dealership sux here in Eugene, Oregon)

I know reviving old threads is bad business, but I wanted to post this reply.
My buddy ran an Emanage Blue on his 1990 2jz na-t T70 Supra, and then he ran the same setup on his Sc300. He was making 500whp when he sold the Sc300 and it was his daily driver.
This thread will lead you to believe Emanage is no good for an na-t setup, but that's not entirely accurate.
Here's a video I took of Lorenzos car. The setup ran damn good, and didn't idle funky or die out etc..
