Default SAFC settings? How Use This?

Hello,
I did a search several times but couldn't turn up anything usefull. The only thing I would get is stuff about intakes and Weapon-R stuff. I was wondering If anyone could fill me in on the SAFC by Apexi for our SC300's. If someone would please tell me what the general setting(s) for our cars are and maybe even how to set it up basically. I don't know how to use it at all and would like some basic info before I try it. I hope you guys can help.
Thanks,
-Brian

can't set one up unless you have some sort of datalogger or A/F meter(the wideband kind).

a regular air/fuel gauge may not be accurate enough for you to tune... if you see one in action it will jump around like crazy and will give you a vague idea of the mixture. This very reason made me get a Wideband O2 reader, display and sensor. Wideband allows you to accurately read the air/fuel ratios.
Safe reading for N/A cars should be something like 13.5 for max power and 16.5 for max efficiency and of course stoich is 14.7:1

I looked into tuning and a reputable place, Altered Atmosphere in MD, will tune it incorporating a dyno for $130-180. I would this think is about the standard price and I highly recommend having it professionally tuned to get the most from it.

Anyone have the S-AFC 2 yet? I have the JDM limited edition and it I believe installs mostly the same way as the first with the extra wires for the knock sensor. The instructions are in Japanese and I think I've figured out most of the wiring diagram but am waiting until the English instructions come out. Anyone happen to have a definite wiring diagram for the afc II for the SC3?

installs exactly the same way as the S-AFC. wiring should be the same.
try www.vfaq.org that's for DSM guys but it explains what each wire is supposed to do.

U.S. version 2 Safc is out. I just got off the phone with apexi-usa and they confirmed it was released the first week of June. Their retail is $439, but I'm sure you can find it cheaper than that.

i've heard its possible to use a S-AFC to defeat the fuel based boost cut (14.7psi) in 1JZ-GTE's

does anyone have any more information on this? I'm keen for more pressure!
