Default Fuel delivery problem on Gen 1 SC300

My 95 SC has 12 volts to the fuel pump with ignition on but immediately starts losing voltage all the way down to zero within seconds. Fires up and then stalls out. Fuel pump is new. Anybody know why the voltage would drop so quickly?

Jump b+ (12v battery) and fp (fuel pump) in the diagnostic connector with a paper clip but just as a test don't drive around relying on a paper clip.

Default Appreciate the responses

I haven't tried the jumper at the diagnostic port, but I had run a hot to the pump and it came on immediately. Today I bought a relay, wire, etc to bypass the fuel ecu and miraculously I put the key in to open the windows and sunroof and the pump came on, stayed on, and I drove the car for nearly an hour with no problems. Unfortunately when I parked it I believe the gears on the passenger window broke. So I havent actually fixed or bypassed the fuel ecu yet. Heck, it drove great. 90102 on the odometer when I parked it this evening. I suspect the fuel issue will come back, but she was purring today. 95 SC 300 with 90k on the odo, and I now have a grand total of $470 invested in it. (Bought the car for $350........great story, but I gotta work in 3 hours. Again, I appreciate input from you guys on the current and future issues(hopefully NOT) Thanks

Yeah, thats definitely a fuel pump ecu issue then. I'm pretty sure the relay is bad in it.
