Ive been searching and how come most people say OBDII cars are so much harder to turbo. It doesnt seem like tt1520 had any problems.... or did you? I dont understand why it would be any harder. And tt1520, is your check engine light always on and do you know how to get it off without taking off the turbo kit?

That power graph is interesting. Is that normal for TT setups? Mine pretty much starts at 300 rwhp at 3500rpm and climbs to 360rwhp quickly and then stays even. up to 6500rpm. The graph looks kind of too rich still but safe. Anyway congrats. Your car is going to kick some serious butt once it gets tuned up

I guess I aim for around 12.5. Thats why I think it is a little rich.

BTW, what temperature do your manifolds get? How do you guys handle uner the hood heat? My manifold and turbo got so hot that my air conditioning lines broke a seal and started leaking.

Turbonetics makes shields that fit most of their turbos. I think that the turbo being the closest to those lines, is probably the culprit. That is a good heads up on the A/C lines, I'll have to take a look. You could also do a ceramic coating for less heat on both the turbo and the manifold. I think Jeff had is manifold JetHot 2000 coated or something like that. There were two varieties, don't remember which temp coating he got. You could always make a shield out of sheet aluminum and screw it into the body where the lines run.

Well this is the shielding I have so far.

Stainless steel sheild on the turbo to shield some wiring.
Bonnett for the exhaust side of the turbo.
Protective shielding for the intake pipe to the throttle body since it lies directly over the turbo.
Cold air box to minimize underhood hot air intake.
I need to wrap up some more things and force some air in to combat the heat.
