Default Dynoed 324.5rwhp on turbo kit

Hey guys, just wanted to update my progress. I dynoed 325rwhp @ 10 psi. This is on an automatic 97 OBDII SC300 w/ very little tuning on the HKS AFR. This was done with a Toyomoto manifold, Turbonetics 60-1 Hi-Fi turbo, Tial 38mm wastegate, stock TT intercooler, 3" dp, and HKS AFR....that's it... I dynoed on a hot day(90 degrees) w/ high humidity. I guess it did alright...thanks to everyone for their support and knowledge..

Also I am selling this kit to get something bigger and better Check the classifieds if interested...

Why sell? You haven't had the chance to really open it up and built on what you've got? 325rwhp---it's got alot more to go. With an auto and 60-1 with that a/r you could probably hit 475rwhp or so if you drop the compression just a little.

Does it matter? At 10 pounds of boost it could just be 93. It is amazing to me what a 60-1 will do on 116 octane when you dial the boost up, say 15 or 17psi.

Actually it does matter alot. I am comparing everyones results to mine. If it is 91 octane that he used I need to re-examine my setup and see what producing the bottleneck . It takes me 16lbs to get 360rwhp. Does he have the headgasket too?

* Edit *

Nevermind if I calculate in the change for not having the headgasket my car is tuned a little stonger.

Scott, the reason why I want to sell is because I got a really good deal on an equal length manifold w/ a bigger turbo...This equal length manifold is a piece of art!!! I will be posting pics of it very soon...Scott, btw thanks for everything you have done for me!

Hermosa, I dynoed my car w/ 93 octane w/ very very little tuning with the HKS AFR and with a stock head gasket....Like I said before, this was on an extremely hot Texas day(90 degrees) w/ very high humidity. I am sure that if I wasn't running as rich as I was, I could have made more power....who knows..
Hey Hermosa, what is your setup so I can compare mine to yours.....

Here we go. I actually posted an update thread but it disappeared in some glitch.

Anyway...

Toyomoto Manifold
Toyomoto Headgasket
440CC injectors
ADFX Intercooler
Greddy Type S BOV
Cold Air Box
T04 Turbo
Deltagate Wastegate
Cartech FMU (Rising rate)
Supra Turbo MAF
Apexi AVC-R
Apexi S-AFC
3" Downpipe
3" Midpipe
Custom mandrel piping to the rear muffler flanges
Magnaflow Mufflers
Plenty of heat shield wrapping

I know someone has some pics of it out there. Rich? Glen?

I keep tweaking with it to cool the intake charge. And the car keeps running better and stronger.

A question to all though. What are you guys doing to alleviate under the hood heat from the manifold and turbo?

Hermosa,

What year is your car?

Did you have any check engine lights?

Yes the check engine light is always on.
My next step is to remove as much under the hood heat as possible. My AC actually busted last week. I think the turbo heat loosened some seals.

Hermosa, what ratio is the FMU?

TT1520 - are you just using an AFR for fuel enrichment? Or larger injectors, FMU..?

mamurra2, I am just using the HKS AFR w/ stock injectors...that's it...actually, the car runs pretty rich @ 10 psi w/ just the stock injectors and w/ very little tuning w/ the AFR( we used a FJO wideband to tune the car)

That looks sort of like mine did before it was tuned. Nice top end though. I bet it feels really progressive, would be simple to drive on a road course. I wonder how you got so much top end?
