Default Goodbye Center resonator?

what kind of results would removing the center resonator and replacing it with a 12" X-pipe give you

performance isnt that big of a deal, but for sound? if it yeilds a nice sound, its a pretty good deal for the money

btw, this would be for a sc400

thank you, and i HAVE tried searching the forums

Well, done PROPERLY a full exhaust seems to really wake these engines up. The center resonator is a good place to start as are getting rid of the middle mufflers.

VSsc400 built a full exhaust with X pipe and dyno tuned the engine with an S-AFCII fuel computer and is reporting 220rwhp vs. 175rwhp for a typically stocker. That is a major jump. You would also do well to read the header GB post as there is some great exhaust tech to be found there.
