Default How to add back cruise control?

I recently got a new 1997 sc400 with an aftermarket steering wheel that got rid of the cruise control, I was wondering if anyone has an idea of where I could find a replacement that won't cost a lot. I was hoping I could just use a toyota one and not pay 200 buck for an original one off a sc400 but I ran into a problem. The connector that is on the switch for the original one has an inline plug with six pins. Does anyone know the compatibility of these switches? I really don't feel like replacing a fried ECU.
Here is what the oem one looks like.
