Sorry if i'm beating a dead horse but can someone lead me in the direction of the best wiring information for swapping a 1997 SC300?

I've seen jumping a couple pins on the main plug and splicing some wires for reverse lights. I've seen some stuff about having to flip it from park (to start) and drive (to drive).
