common problems with the SC300 (please sticky this)
i have been looking around on here, and at one point saw a thread with a list of problems that plagued the sc300. i think it would be a good idea if we had an official post or subcatagory that had an official list and links on the repair details.
I.E.; Power steering leak_________ww.clublexus.com/forums/powersteeringfix____________loss of power steering, high pitch groaning noise when wheel is turned, fluid leaks that appear on ground under engine bay______________'92-'00
the name of the problem_______link to post on how to fix/information on problem___________________________________symptoms/signs____________________________________________________________________years likely effected

Not sure I quite fully understand, but we already have a FAQ sticky with a lot of what you're asking

Rentaro, at this point if you don’t maintain any part of your ride it’s going to be worn and will need replaced.
whether it’s a common problem with these cars or not they are old, so if you don’t replace a part it’s either going to leak or normal wear off.
If you ps is leaking, you either have leaky hose, bad rack seals, leaky old ps pump, or you simply putting too much ps fluid in the reservoir.
if you have sc300, these cars are easiest to work on, you don’t need internet to show you pics! Pop your hood get under the car and start wrenching. Trust me you will thank yourself later by knowing what’s there instead of looking for pics trying to get a clue!
