Can hand crank motor about half way ? Then it stops ?
mine is a 95 sc400, and one morning it started but sounded very rough and then started making a loud knocking noise . What could this be ? Hopefully someone can help. Thank you

have you checked timing for the cams vs the crank (and if the timing belt is in good shape for that matter)? Make sure that everything lines up when setting it to top dead center to start. Is the knocking noise high up in the motor or down low? We will need more info and a video if you can to help better.
