I have a 1993 SC400. I just had the ECU rebuilt. I reinstalled the rebuilt ecu and the car would not start. Prior to the rebuild the car start but with low idle and would cut off when you apply the accelerator. Now that the ecu is rebuilt I don't see a check engine light. When I turn the key the car just turns. Any suggestions on what could be the problem. Should I try to find another ECU? I'm a novice to this and want to get my car running again.
I have the exact same problem. Just finished installing my rebuilt ECU. Now it would just crank but not turn over. When I take the key off, there’s a slight glow on the CEL but not when the key is on.

The ecu I had was not built properly. I had to get another one. Found it from a guy in Atlanta on Facebook marketplace who rebuilds them and salvages sc's
