Replacements i need to make
Hi, im planning on buying a 1992 sc300 and ive been searching for about 2 hours now and haven't been able to find a solid answer to this question. After buying the SC300 whats the most important things i should replace first?
I noted some things from past posts like but idk if they were accurate or not.
Timing Belt + Water Pump
OIL CHANGE + Good Oil Filter
Air Filter/Fuel filter and PCV Valve
Transmission Fluid
Brake Fluid
Radiator Fluid
Fan clutch
windshield cleaner/wiper
Brake pads

You didn't find an answer because there is no answer. It depends entirely on the vehicle and what maintenance has or hasn't been done. Prioritize your list once you know what it needs.

That list is a good start. But like what t2d2 says, it all depends on what the history of the car is like, and what else is wrong with it.
Here's everything I would change if I got a car that I knew nothing of it's history
Timing Belt, Water Pump, Thermostat, T-belt tensioner, T-belt idler pulley, new harmonic balancer, new crankshaft bolt, Toyota coolant
Synthetic oil and a good oil filter.
Air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, PCV valve
Distributor cap & rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs
Trans fluid and Diff fluid
If you have any noticeable oil leaks coming from any seals, replace them ASAP before things get worse. Front seals do at the same time you do the T-belt service
Normal seals that leak with age: Camshaft seals, front main seal, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets
Replace wipers if they are old.
Replace brake pads if they are low, or you don't like how it brakes. Do a brake flush at this time
Replace/upgrade any burned out lightbulbs
