Default Fuel pump question

I think my fuel pump is going out and I'm hours away from home so I dont have any where to siphon gas so if my gas tank is full when I go to remove fuel pump gas would pour out wouldn't it

Yes, it will leak. The pump is towards the top of the tank so it will not completely empty out.
