Talking Red Cats = Bad Coils

Thank you Thank you Thank you, I read a post from Lextreme to Fast SC and RedPhoenix in regards to Red glowing hot Cat. I performed the coils replacement and My SC400 came to life. Wow what a difference 8 cylinders made vs running on only 4. I was worried about 1UZ running like crap and no engine code. My 97 SC300 had this port under the steering wheel, I would plug in a bluetooth device and see actual live setting as I drove on my iphone. I was bummed out first 92 lexus SC400 was not OBII. Is there any harm in running gutted out cats (3)
Thank you,
