Default Oil Feed for turbo 97 SC300 Non VVT best way to do it?

I've been searching for a while now since I have decided to turbo my SC and I can't really find anything that isnt close to a decade old that has photos that arent hosted by photobucket. Most info I find is tapping the block or IS300 union bolt. I just want to know the easiest most reliable way to do this. Thanks!

Get an IS300 union bolt that has the threads tapped in it. Will cost you ~$30. Alternatively, you can drill and tap your current union bolt (I've done this twice). Just be careful when you do it and drill it straight (use a drill press if you have access to one).

Drill & Tap Kit - $18 shipped

Look at the second image, middle of the block, under the green sensor you will see the spot where the oil filter mounts. The union bolt holds the oil filter housing to the block. You will see a hold in the middle of that bolt. That is the union bolt.

If you only plan to stay at 450-500whp and under you can do it pretty nicely with a JDM 2JZGTE ECU. Usually one from an Aristo.

Ali SC3 has made some extensive threads about how to do it.
