Default 1994 sc400 system too lean

What’s up guys so I have a 94 sc400 with 192k miles. Runs perfect but the other day I got a check engine light and did a code scan for codes 22,25,31. The car tends to give a little jump when first pressing the throttle in drive probably due to bad map sensor. When I went to re check the codes all that’s coming up now is code 25. Any thoughts on testing or should I replace the ect and map first? Thanks

Code 25 is typically an O2 sensor malfunction, however, also check for vacuum leaks. Sometimes bad plugs/wires/distributors can give you a similar code, but I'd start with primary 02 sensors and go from there. Someone may chime in, but, do a few searches on this forum and that seems to be a common consensus.

Do you mean upstream or downstream o2s ? Also would it be okay to clean my map sensor with brake cleaner, maf sensor cleaner, or some time of computer parts cleaner ?

Upstream should be the issue. Also, DO NOT clean the MAF with any cleaning products, it only causes harm on those.

Default Solved!!

Changed my upstream 02 sensors and light hasn’t came back on and it’s been a few days. So far so good. Does anybody suggest changing the other 2 soon to be preventative? 193k miles

If you changed both primary sensors and the codes went away, then you're fine. The rear O2s only tell the ECU the cats are working so they don't need to be replaced until they stop working altogether. That's rare on the OBD1 cars.
