That is actually quite depressing .. it won't be original or different when every other SC300 is running one

If you do a 2jz-gte swap, could you use the new one designed for the lexus to power the GTE?

The only reason you would do this would be:
1) put the AEM on the stock GE motor until you do the swap (which is rather pointless)

Otherwise, I would just get the GTE version AEM.

If I was to turbo the Ge motor and also do a distributorless ignition setup. Would I run the sc300 or supra unit thanks-pdang

SC300 / NA Supra unit.

You only use the Supra TT unit if you're doing the GTE swap, or you want to rewire it for fun.

It's really not hard to wire the TT unit. If you're doing a serious turbo conversion, you'd want to install MAP and IAT sensors, anyway. Neither Angel, tkr*sc300, or myself have GTE motors or heads..

Thx brother, i'm hoping the plugs @ the ECU are the same as well, if so and I could use the '97-down unit I would strongly consider going AEM instead of Autronic.
