Grannas Racing Power Steering Delete

Bill,
the 20:1 ratio he mentioned is basically how many degrees the steering wheel turns vs how many degrees the wheel turns on on the ground. So for every 20 degrees you turn the steering wheel , the wheel will turn ONE degree.
What you mentioned is lock to lock which is different. Our car has something in the neighborhood of 14/15:1 steering ratio, so he actually slowed his steering (this is favorable depending on the setup of the car and the purpose of it). You went the opposite way. I.e. you quickened your steering. BMW are probably 14:1 stock, so maybe you're in 12:1 territory. I hope that makes sense.

Hey Max,
Thank you for setting me straight on this, I honestly had no idea. I have never been shy about asking questions about anything I did not understand. Wish I had gone after an Engineering degree and not Business. My Father preached to me and my brothers and sisters when you lose the desire to learn something everyday in life it is time to be planted so I am good for another day. YEAH.
Thanks Max
