Power steering slowly died on me today
I was driving and thought I had a flat because it was hard to steer to the left...then a few minutes later it was the right, then intermittently the PS would work and be OK, then as the day went on it slowly just died until it was all manual turning.
Checked fluid - was good, did a visual, was good. No whining or leaks.
Ordered a new pump and idle valve, hoping that's it..

Hope that's all it is!

Replaced pump and air valve, still dead. It's weird because once in a blue moon like once or twice a day (i drive al ot) it will work for a second or to when turning one direction, so i think there's a valve/seal/ that's dead inside.
Just wondering how much I want to keep dumping into this car ugh.

You look at it this way:
If you like the car, it meets your needs, and you are paying less per month than a new car payment (plus taxes, vehicle license fees, and insurance), then you stay with the car.
