So on a cold start does your SC slam into Drive from park? I fixed mine my fixing the "kickdown cable" (actually a transmission pressure control cable), what had happened is the cable outer shielding had come out of the crimped end. picture below of how mine looked and then how it should look. You can see from the witness marking on the cable how much it has slipped out ~10mm Here it is back in place.
I then super glued it back in place then adjusted the cable so the stopper was about 1-3mm away from the metal threaded tube see this video for in-depth look at that
Also as a note you may need to trim the wires inside the cable shielding if they are sticking out. This can be hard because you cant really get a side cutters in there easy but it can be done with some time.
Also BTW depending on how long this has been happening you may need adjust it by feel as the cable will have stretched so just keep adjusting till you are happy with the shifts.
