Engine seems to be sweated. Is there an existing issue and fix?

Needle for rpm drops off and engine will stall. Not staying running while at idle. Engine light comes on.

300 or 400? could be fuel pump ecu which is common, or issue with the main ecu which is also common these days as the ecu's are all pretty old by now. If the v8 it could be the coilpacks.
