Its the turbo I posted in my sig I gave him lots of **** for the name, lol.
Its SP SSGT800W
SS( "Super-Spool")
GT (full GT cartridge)
800 (800 hp capable)
W ("Whistler" anti-surge housing )

This thing is "supposed" to spool like a motha. I'm heading over to the shop when the other car with it gets on the dyno. As soon as get some numbers I'll post.

I'm not looking for HUGE numbers, I want something that has a nice curve

I see. So that's why you bought the house there.

Update on that above mentioned turbo

It made 644rwhp @27psi.
This was done on an auto tranny and vpc/afc combo. We're pretty confident that the turbo is capable of more on my 6spd and aem setup

The best part is, full boost at 4100rpms

definately go 67 if it is between the 63 and 67... the spool will be almost unnoticeable with the converter you will have in the car.

If you want to drop the cash get one of the crazy new turbos, but AFAIK they won't fit on the SP NA manifold... Lar would have to fab up a new manifold to make it fit between the motor/shock tower/hood. The housings on the new turbos are HUGE.

If you go the route where you have to get a manifold made, I would appreciate it because then I won't have to put money into having one made like I did when I paid to have the original SP NA manifold made... I could just buy one after they did all the fitments, etc. on your car

Regardless good luck on the project!
