Loss of power upon stepping on gas and no check engine light
My 1995 sc300 I just bought has a issue. There’s no check engine light but upon research I tried fixing it I replaced the maf sensor with one I found on amzon then I looked for any vacuums leaks found one fixed that then I replaced the pcv valve becuase I noticed oil build up and a crack in it when I hook the wire up to diagnostics it reads the code 24 but I just replaced the maf so I don’t think it’s that other then all that the car runs ok it smokes a lot when gas is floored and if I hold it on the floored position it blows off the cover for the air intake where the filter goes like it blows it open and u can hear popong coming out of the air intake any help would be greatly appreciated but from what I’ve Sean no one has this problem

Have you checked for a coolant leak my car would do the same thing as soon as I would step on the gas it would lose power or be on the verge of dying I didn’t have a leak but I just bought the car and it didn’t check my coolant level it’s random but it might be worth looking at
