Default 95' SC400 Trans mount bolts snapped

Hello CL, While replacing my transmission mount I ended up snapping the two rear bolts. I also found that all the bolts related to the trans mount including the aluminum crossmember were quite loose, resulting in the debris getting into the threads for these two bolts. After trying to extract these two for an entire day and snapping some extractor bits, I ended up just installing the new mount with just the front two bolts. Will this have any long-term effects that should be addressed? I put thread locker on all bolts to try and mitigate any future loosening.

Need some context, can that aluminum piece be removed relatively easily? Looks like not a chance but for something like that I would remove it and drill out the bolts using a drill press. 1 broken bolt you can get away with but two that is iffy.

I agree ^. Get those broken bolts out of there one way or the other. Worst case, drill them out completely, re-tap, and throw a couple slightly larger bolts in there. If you're just cruising around town you may never break the other two bolts, however, one good launch or lurch and I'd hate to see you break the good two off as well.

The mount is connected to the transmission extension housing which links the trans and driveshaft.. Does anybody know if this can be removed without removing the trans entirely?

That's what I thought.

I would consult the factory service manual to see what's involved. Consider hiring a welder they will tack on some nuts and twist those out.
