For a 1996 SC400, I have searched this forum and cannot find sufficient information for removing the power steering pressure hose.
I have purchased a set of crow's foot wrenches up to size 22mm. It appears that if I remove the serpentine belt, along with the pulley for the power steering pump, the banjo bolt for the pressure hose to pump can be accessed from above.
I can get a 17mm socket on the banjo bolt for the return feed on the rack with a U-joint and extensions. However, I cannot seem to get anything on the 17mm banjo bolt for the high side on the rack. A/C lines along with the compressor and even the positive cable from the battery all seem to hinder access.
How is the banjo bolt for the high pressure port on the rack removed?

I'm in this same position, just emptying out the reservoir. Did you ever manage to figure it out?
