Diff on rubber pad on the jack ready to go back under the car.
In this photo the diff is mounted into the chassis again. You can see I still need guibo bolts and axle bolts.
Does anyone have particular advice on the way the bolts are oriented on the guibo?
I’ve noticed depending on the orientation that the bolts will rub on the top of the cross member when the diff is really loaded up like when giving it the beans from a dig. The pinion rises and the bolts rub the top of the subframe.
On the road again.
The diff is much more liveable now.
The car has since developed a new issue. The battery indicator is illuminated on the dash and despite being a fresh new battery, it is not being charged.
Anyone have a link to charging system diagnosis? It’s probably the alternator, are there some fuses or relays to check first?
