Default IS350 2nd gen

Hello, I am a new member and I have a 2007 IS350 that is having some issues. When I floor the gas pedal a ton of smoke releases and it smells. When I am idle at a stop light my car releases small amounts of smoke as well. Not to mention when I turn on the AC at times it reeks like fuel coming though the vents. My car isn't overheating so I do not think its the head gasket, my guess would be a fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator? Has anyone experienced this before?

Rafi,

if its giving you that much smoke, you should have a CEL on. Honestly I'd look into replacing spark plugs, ignition coils, and cleaning your MAF plus throttle body. All that can do is help. Perhaps its not all igniting on the BANG part of the suck squeeze bang blow cycle.

What color, what smell, does it do it fully warmed up? Does it still have functioning CATS that haven't been punched out? On the open road, what kind of mileage does it get and does it leak use or otherwise consume oil? Details are needed.

Have you checked the rear body vents in the trunk? They rott off and let water and exhaust fumes. Water coming in will kill the amp in the trunk.

It smells like rotten eggs at times and or burnt oil, and yes it can do this fully warmed up. I believe I figured it out. It looks like my valve stem seals may need to be replaced because my spark plugs have burnt oil on them. I will go to specialist to verify/diagnose. I appreciate your advise
