Just installed Weapon R Intake BUT MAS IS TOO CLose to the ENgine! Wat can i do??

Just installed Weapon R Intake BUT MAS IS TOO CLose to the ENgine! Wat can i do??
I drove 15 mins to work, and that engine part next to the mass is hot...i know that if i drive a lot, it will get hotter and thus melt that MAS right? Anyone else have this problem?

How about trying to create a buffer in between the two with something that will absorb the heat but not get hot itself? I know it sounds crazy and I'm not sure if something of the sort exists, but it's worth the try.

did u get ot from weapon-r? i've seen where they give out old intakes where the mas sensor plug is 2 low and some where they have it higher 2 avoid this problem, i had the same issue with my 300, the 1st intake would fit into the w-r box and than they sent me a 2nd one that did, i eventually switched 2 another brand anyway but just check it out if u can....
