Video of Supercharged GS400 and Turbo IS300
This video was taken by our resident video guru Brendan Lim. He is very good at composing videos we take at events. He has done some elaborate and long videos in the past. This is no exception. It is a short 2 minute video of our local SELOC monthly meet here in Atlanta. For those that don't know, we meet once a month at a designated spot and have a little Lexus fun. This video was taken at our latest meet which was Nov 2nd. Brendan threw something together in a matter of hours and posted it up on his and our website. I figured I would share it with you guys since he did a good job on it.
My disclaimer is: I was NOT trying to "race" the Celica. He was being a pest. I was taking 3 of our newer members out for a little "test" ride. This Celica came from nowhere and started revving and trying to bait me for some reason
. It was just a Celica GTS with a coffee can exhaust and probably an intake judging from the racket he was making. Anyway, I figured I would embarrass him once and he would go away. Wrong! He took 3-4 beatings and then I gave up cause he was just being a pest with his fly-bys, so I turned off the road and gave the guys a ride.
I only tell you this so you guys wouldn't think I was out beating up on lil' ol 4 cyls and thinking that was cool or anything. The guy was just being a pest.

Jaime, we need to meet up sometime soon bro! Got some ideas for something. Also, the video's been seen by close to 700 folks on Autofiend so far

Seriously, Brendan and his crew were the ones responsible for the outcome. I just drove. I'm a ham for a camera, so I'm always willing to do something silly for the camera.
Brendan: Anytime you're ready. I've got a couple of ideas I've had for a long time but I certainly don't have the skill to put it on video. Just raw ideas. You can give me a shout and one day when you come into town you can come over and we'll share over a cold one and a game of pool. You really do have some serious skills. I can't get over what you did with just a couple of minutes of footage. Great job!
