Default 2jz-GE FFIM mod

Hi all,

While building a second 2jz ge engine, I am curious if fitting a front facing intake manifold worths on an na 2jz ge with factory ecu( will remap with a little bit bigger injectors). Anyone has any experience on it ?
Also 3 more questions:
- Will doing this modification still leave me with a working cruise control?
- will it throw any codes ?
- also how about the bosch dbw throttle? Can it work with the factory ecu and plugs ?

Couldn’t find a thread with factory ecu so decided to ask you experts!

p.s. something like this:https://www.ebay.nl/itm/164122517734?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=1346-175129-2357-0&ssspo=i4ITrLQ6QTq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=8sjmqsbnqvo&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Cheers,
Aaron

Are you planning to turbo the engine? A manifold swap wouldn't make much sense for power on the GE. In fact it might lose quite a bit of torque. The long runners and variable flapper are designed to draw air in the most efficient way for N/A.
