You need to do a search, there should be loads of threads on this...

I've got it, and yes, it's a direct replacement for stock diff. The taller ring gear LOWERS the final gearing of the car meaning more torque but less top speed (I don't care since I'm not about to go 150mph in my car anyway). Besides the speed improvement the bigger improvement is being able to put the power to the ground particularly out of low speed turns without VSC kicking in. It's a load of fun.

hi, yea, i looked on some threads, but unsure about acouple of things. Does this make both rear tires spin together then? Does this make our car shift harder? I really dont want to put extra wear on the car. Does it improve on the 0-60 times? thanks a lot

Try searching for 'Torsen' in this specific sub-forum and you'll find your answers.

One more point...

The MAIN point is the tires will spin a lot less in all situations... which makes the car feel a LOT faster. Tonight was a cool evening, I went and ran some errands, and was FLYING because of that Supra diff... believe me. VSC nanny never intervened ONCE. It's a hoot.

For guys with 19s and 20s its also a great way to get the gearing back to stock (maybe a little shorter on the 19s), and get better traction, response, etc.

I have EVERY intention on doing this mod down the line!

I'm thinking TC and LSD next...just got to wear out some parts so the wifey won't be able to tell...she'll just think the car is a POS since I have to keep replacing all the parts Instant cost justification!

I put the Supra TT LSD in about 6 months ago. It was fairly easy. I noticed that my car accelerates quicker. On cool days,(not many here in Fla), flooring it from a dead stop will spin BOTH tires a little, unless the VSC is on. The only side effect that I have is that shifts between 1st and 2nd gear will hit the revlimiter. It's not bad, just for a half a second. I still have the stock 17" rims and tires.

I would highly recommend this upgrade. I was lucky and picked up this TT LSD used for $325. They can be found cheap if you look hard enough.

Got mine and love it!! I also have the 2800 TC, SRT intake and ecu, APEXi exhaust. If I punch my car from a dead stop without powerbraking, I'll light the tires up all the way through the intersection

Only main thing I noticed after all my HP mods was that the car started to take longer and longer to shift from 1-2, 2-3 with every mod I added. Got to the point where I thought my tranny was going to just burn up if I didn't do something about it.

So I sent my Valve Body off to Level 10 to have their race build HydroSystem done to it. I should be getting it back today or Friday. I'll post a write-up of my opinions and experience with it.
