Just wondering if you think it would be pointless at 50k miles to do a treatment of Auto-RX in the engine and transmission? The company that makes Auto-RX recommends every 50k miles, but of course they're going to recommend using their product more often than may be necessary. Plus I would think that the 1UZ-FE doesn't run quite as dirty internally as others. The car runs great still.
But I did order and just got it in the mail so I was thinking about doing it just for preventative measures.
I also plan on doing an oil analysis before and after so everyone here can find out for sure whether it really helps.

Go for it. I'm planning to do the same on my 00GS400 at 60k miles. Also, I already did the over 100,000 miles treatment on my 95SC400 with 118,000 miles on it. I would recommend this product because not only it cleans the engine but also does well for the gaskets.

bringing this back from the dead... i have a 99 gs400 with over 60k mi on it and i'm going through the cleaning phase right now... this car was dealer serviced and the stuff that's coming out is black black black ![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
i've been doing this because after the warranty expired, i made the foolhardy decision to switch from the dealer dino oil to full synthetic... what a bad mistake. the synthetic oil lifted all the sludge out and the engine blowing blue smoke on startup... now i'm back on dino oil and following the auto-rx process in hopes it will stop.
