Default stock intake + k&n drop-in filter vs. cone air intake

hey guys, another question, to improve performance i could put my stock intake back on and drop in a k&n filter then tune it with the apexi afc or get the rod millen, injen, or other intake and tune it.

the afc would cost me $450 (part + tuning). so basically its about $525 total if i go with the drop in or $700 total if i go with a new intake. if its the latter, which intake should i get?

Or should i quit now, leave the cheap intake i have in, not tune it and say screw it? it just feels slower after redoing the whole exhaust (new headers, race pipe, pro1 catback). i lost some low end power i think. Thanks guys.
